| GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS |

No limit is imposed on the number of abstracts submitted by individuals. |

|
| • |
Abstracts are to be submitted in English only. |
| |
|

Scheduling details and guidelines for the final preparation of accepted presentations will be included
with the notification of acceptance. |

The final selection will be the responsibility of the Scientific Committee. |
| |
|
|
| WHERE APPROPRIATE, THE ABSTRACTS SHOULD CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING |
| • |
A statement of the objectives of the study. |
| |
|
| • |
A description of the methods used. |
| |
|
| • |
A summary of the results obtained. |
| |
|
| • |
A statement of the conclusions reached. |
|
| |
| |
| INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS |

The abstract should not exceed 300 words. |
| |
|
| • |
Title must be in CAPITAL letters on the first line. |
| |
|

|
Author(s) name(s) and institution(s) should follow. |
| |
|
| • |
Underline the name of the presenting author. |
| |
|
| • |
Leave one line between the title / author / institution and the body of the abstract. |
| |
|

|
Texts must be typed single-spaced, with only the left margin justified. Graphs, tables and illustrations
can be included in the abstract. |

|
For experimental clinical studies and animal studies, a copy of the approval received by the local ethics committee must be sent to the WENMISS Secretariat my mail or electronically.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Free Papers will be presented daily along with expert lectures and themed topics. Speaking time will be 6 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion. All session rooms will be equipped with computer projection. All presenters are requested to bring their PowerPoint presentations on a CD ROM or USB Stick and to check in at the Audiovisual Centre at least 3 hours prior to their presentation. Further detailed information will be send to the presenters nearer the time.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Delegates who choose to present their work in poster format will be sent instructions regarding the format and layout required for their poster.
AWARDS
A prize for the best poster will be awarded. The winning poster is selected by the Congress Chairman
and the Presidential Guest Speaker.
In addition to the best poster award, the WENMISS Award will be given for the best oral presentation. |
